Why do so many people complain of being lonely and having no friends, on TSR? Watch

Surely the solution is obvious. Some of these lonely people could all just PM each other and make new friends that way. I'm pretty shy myself and don't have many friends either but I'm sure if a few people PM each other on this thread, de-anoned of course, then maybe they wouldn't be so bored this summer!

So if anyone wants to make new friends, post away.

I am struggling to see why you need to be anon to post such a great idea.

Well i'm guessing because H&R has an anon feature. I doubt most would go ahead deanon and go "i'm a loser i have no friends!".

But yeah, smart idea, but i somehow doubt it's as easy to implement as you suggest :p:

Because PMing some random girl in Yorkshire isn't the same as having a flesh and blood friend, is it? We can't exactly go to the park together.. having a friend tied to the internet is not the same as having an irl friend.

And if you just do it with someone in your area to meet up as friends, that would just be a bit weird I think. What would you talk about/have in common..
