# Core 3 ( remainder theorem) watch

1. Express the following improper fractions in mixed number form by using the remainder theorem and using the Ax^2+Bx+C x divisor+ remainder method:

1) 8x^3+2x^2+5/2x^2+2

2) 4x^3-5x^2+3x-14/x^2+2x-1

4. 2nd question..

(4x^3-5x^2+3x-14)/(x^2+2x-1) = (Ax+B) +[(Cx + D)/(x^2 + 2x -1)]
now multiply with (x^2+2x-1).
now u get
(4x^3-5x^2+3x-14) = Ax(x^2 + 2x -1)+B(x^2 + 2x -1)+ Cx + D.
NOW SOLVE R.H.S AND EQUATE THE QUOEFICIENTS OF LETTERS WITH SAME POWERS FROM LHS..
like this u can get values of A B C and D..
