Hey, I know dramas are not considered books, but anything with lots of pages and writing and no pictures counts as a book in this thread.

The only ones I know are:

    Novel
    Drama
    Biography
    Autobiography

This is a weird question. I suppose, nonfiction books generally - I don't know how you'd break that down; dictionaries, encyclopedia, journals, almanacs, diaries..

Ok, I'm confused. Do you mean as in, books by type: a novel or novella, or books by genre: drama or romance? If it's the latter then there's a plethora of genres.
Drama, science fiction, romance, slash fiction, thriller, magical realism, historical fiction, mystery... etc

A book is a physical medium by which other formats transmit information. The internet is a medium too. Both can 'transmit' novels.

Generally, literature is split into drama, novel, novella, poetry and short story. In reality, however, you can realistically look divide them between novel (novel, novella and short story) and poetry (poetry proper and drama). People also use the term prose quite ambiguously to mean almost everything that people have mentioned (biography, diaries and letters; the only things I have come across in academia).
