Hi my acne has completely stopped the last few years but the scars remain. The discolouration has disappeared over time and I had chemical peels to improve the appearance of my back.

But thing is they didn't remove my keloids. It makes me sick every day. They are all over my back, I don't know what to do or where to go.

Anyone know a way to remove them? Would laser be good?

sorry to hear that. I have some on my face to, but no where near as much. Plus on my face they are "pitted type scars," a few on my cheek.

But my back, chest is real bad, really hurts me and makes me feel unclean and sick.

i can empathise. i had acne on my face, back, chest and even legs. im clear now but what helped my back was putting aloe vera gel on it. you can find it on amazon. it helped a bunch and now i dont have any. if you visit acne.org too the have a whole forum dedicated for acne scars with frequent members much more knowledgable than those here.

thanks, i'll check that out. I don't think aloe vera would help my scars. Even going to the skin clinic and having chemical peels could not get rid of the keloids, only the discolouration.

Unfortunately there is no "cure" to the acne scars. Even surgery like laser treatment isn't that effective right now. This like aloe vera and bio oil can perhaps help the appearance of them, so maybe worth a try. For more information, check out http://www.acne.org/scars.php
