    ive sold something on ebay it says ive received my payment but ive looked in my paypal account and its not there yets its bin 2-3 days is this normal?

    They might be "On Hold - Post now" status? Some people do this so your incentive is to post the item quicker...you get the money after 21 days of them sending it...

    Where did the notification of payment come from - if it's from PayPal, the email should have a link to the details of the transaction. Try following that and see what the status is.

    It may be that you need to confirm you details e.g. phone number and address before you can use your account.

    Also when i started selling things on ebay if the payment was over £50 pounds the money was on hold until the transaction was complete and positive feedback was left from the other party. New ebay policy or something. Not sure if this is the case with you or not. Have a check on the paypal transactions history? Think it mentions it there.
