I remember at my induction there were 10 of us, it was really awkwardly split 50:50 between people in suits, and people in hoodies and jeans!

Yeah but it doesn't matter what you wear to the induction. You spend all day in the training room so you want something comfortable. Dressing like a tramp for the interview is a bit silly though.

Nope. Im still 'First Stage Interview' But the guy did say it might take up to 7 days because they have been interviewing for loads of different positions.

He was the manager of the department i was applying for too, so i potentially met my boss Also guys, since i read here everyone does till training, he asked me what i might be uncomfortable with, and i said tills to start off, and he told me a online shopper never touches the tills

Hey guys. I went for an interview the other day - night shift counter assistant (making pizzas apparently).

Does anybody know anyone currently doing that exact same job role? I've looked online everywhere but can't seem to find any information about it.

Still waiting to hear whether I get in or not.

I've never heard of night shift counter assistants before. Didn't know they existed.

A customer asked me to put a subtotal on her shopping bill, part way down, so that she would know the cost up until that point without adding it all up. Can anyone tell me how to do that? It wasn't something we covered in training and I was on a till about 6 banks from any other checkout assistants, so couldn't ask...

Thank you. I did this and then returned to the scanning screen but couldn't tell if anything had 'changed'. I'll know for next time now.
