Where is your favourite and least favourite place in Britain?

My favourite place is the Peak District.

My least favourite place? Blackpool. It just isn't what it used to be.

Coastal towns are (generally) pretty depressing tbh. They should be demolished and built again.

Favourite place is probably somewhere in the highlands - really beautiful scenery.

I agree - I hate coastal towns, they make me feel empty and horrible. Blackpool is probably my worst nightmare.

I haven't actually been to that many places in Britain, I'm pretty uncultured :p:

But out of where I have been, I adored Cornwall (Tintagel is incredible <3), Edinburgh is stunning and the Peak District is just beyond words.

We really don't appreciate some of the awesome places we have

I think if I'd have seen it I'd really love northernmost Scotland too.

Blackpool has gone down in recent times (and so has Withington in Manchester, 'cos of unruly students).

My favourite place though would have to be between Marble Arch and Loch Lomond.

    Favourite: London/Middlesbrough :awesome:
Least favourite: Hull. Coming from where I do I sympathise, and I'm sure they've pumped some money in. But I've been going to play rugby fixtures there for the majority of my school career, and it doesn't seem to have changed much at all

My favourite is town. Town town, you know just London town.
Can't say I have a least favourite, but where my parents live (King's Lynn) is often depressing.

I sympathise, I live nearby. Not the most exciting place to visit. The only reason I set foot there is for the odd Matalan trip with parents.
