And to the people that say £200 is meaning you should have sex, no its not. You get paid the base fee then you get extra depending on the man e.g. £100-£4000 to stay at his place. Usually they are city types and £200 means nothing to them.

You never have to have sex. You can walk away from the date at anytime as well.

It's your playing field, its only when you change the rules things get complicated.

given that he keeps asking me out, has taken me to and tries to get me to go to swish places, i think he's more than happy!
You are obviously good fun then *searches for loose change*

But what Im saying is that if you have such a good time with him and you consider him a friend, as you say, then why accept money from him?

I wouldn't let my friend pay me for my company

No, he was the only person who ever asked me on a date. I've not been asked since. It;s not a very active site tbh, or else my profile isn't popular. As I said, it's not about getting paid/a regular income. It's a bit of fun and a great way to meet new people. It's more dating than anything else.

It seems like you went on there more with the intention of meeting people rather than making profit which is cool  You seem like a good girl :p:

The OP is talking about doing it for profit (to spend on clothes ) She is a bad girl :yep:

Well if you do go ahead with it (I obviously would advise against it) just make sure you are safe!

A dinner date probably includes having your wine spiked with rohypnol and being raped behind the restaurant.

seriously, if you want money, get a job. the dates will be few and far between. i have jobs and the regular jobs pay far more than the one date i've been on, lol!

    Hi,

I recently came across a site where members register, put up a profile and set a price in which men or women pay to take them on a dinner date.

I know this is a form of escorting, but being a girl who's slightly strapped for cash it's spurred my interest somewhat.

I'm just wondering what people think about this type of thing. If i was to do it i'd make the dates fully aware they were paying me for a date only and not sex, or anything sexual and if they were still willing then fine.

Many people go on dates every day with strangers - why not be paid for it? I don't see anything wrong with people with a lot of money wanting to spend it making sure they are in the company of a good looking person if that's what they desire.

I really do feel it to be different to prostitution and i guess i'm just seeing what other girls (or guys?) think.

Good way to make a bit of extra cash or a form of prostitution? Some of these guys pay the girls £200 just to take them to dinner!
In my opinion there's nothing wrong with it at all.

Even with prostitution, my view is much the same, although it can become exploitation and can spread disease.

Concerns seem to be rooted in religion and culture - notions of dignity and honour - using your god-given body for 'vice'.

Isn't working for whichever company offers the best wage the same as being a prostitute in a way, or even marrying someone for reasons other than love (very normal).

That's happens even when you're not an escort though! :awesome:

Escorting is a good way for an attractive girl to make lots of easy money. Ignore the haters, if men are desperate enough to have to pay for dates and sex then that's their problem. If you don't do it them someone else might do it instead ... to fund their drug habits, etc.

A common disclaimer is to say that you're selling your time and company, and anything else that happens would be between consenting adults. This makes sure that the expectation of guaranteed sex in return for money isn't there - while also allowing for you to go ahead and have a one-night-stand or whatever if you want to, without looking as though you've changed your mind.

And everyday many people also have one-night-stands. Why not get paid for it? Etc, etc...

It could be both, you know.

Edit: And for the record, paying or being paid for sex is LEGAL in the UK. It's just many of the peripheral activities, such as soliciting on the street, pimping or running a brothel, that are illegal.
