Are you talking about the Unlimited Web & Wifi bolt on?

I bloody hope its not 1GB, £10 for 1gb is a rip off

No, it's included in my iPhone contract but I want to check what their 'fair usage' is as I can't find it on their website.

AFAIK the fair usage policy is 200MB/month.

I don't think they actually say one officially. But if you take the mick a bit, no doubt you'd get contacted.
Pretty sure the 200MB thing applies to normal data bolt ons, and not the iPhone plan.

Seems about the going rate for mobile data really.

I never use it anyway, realistically you only use it tethering.

There's no need to worry about it - I used 350MB in my first month and there was no complaint made by 02. I'm sure if you download a silly amount of data in one go i.e. tethering then they'll instate the fair usage policy and probably warn you/charge you/disconnect you (I think for non-agreed tethering with the iPhone, 02 will disconnect you) but for simple surfing/e-mails/apps that access the 'net you'll be fine.

You cant download anything more than 10mb over 3g. I tried and it gave me an error message saying that.

It's not enough if you want to tether. I usually don't have a laptop to tether to so no problems here.

AFAIK the fair usage policy is 200MB/month.
the "Unlimited" data plan for non-iphone phones is £7.50 a month(iphone payg is £10 a month) and is 500mb. I know this as they texted me saying that I had reached the 500mb limit and anything after that will be charged at normal rates. I do not see any reason why the iphone one would be restricted to 200mb when its a more heavily web based phone (notifications and the like) even if it's a contract phone.:woo:

Hooking your phone up to your laptop and using it as a mobile broadband dongle.

Plug your phone into your laptop, and you can use the 3g, to get onto the internet on the pc, i think, pretty sure its that.
