    Kissing a smoker is in my opinion disgusting Id ask him to quit. Obviously it depends how much it really bothers you :eek:

    that sword cuts both ways you know - how about she respects him if quitting is a problem for him, maybe he likes smoking, maybe he enjoys it - its not like he wont know the health issues surrounding it.

    She got into a relationship knowing he was a smoker she has no right to expect him to quit know. and before you come back and say its damaging her health as well by passive smoking - she knows the risk of passive smoking as well and again she still went out with him

    It's not unreasonable at all; you worry about his health. Hardly unreasonable.

    Whether he will or not is up to him. My girl bangs on about it left right and centre. I've taken to ignoring her. Which is probably quite unreasonable.

    Although she does tell me to stop rather than casually suggest it, so... yeah, whatever.
