I have this old workfriend who is going on holiday. She's asked me to feed her pets again. Last time I did it, was because I had a car / free bus pass and I wanted to see a certain someone so passing by was efficient. I'm free to feed her cats if I do help her, but I feel used abit. I don't work with her anymore and we rarely stay in touch. It's like if she doesn't need anything, I will only just a person she once knew at work. I don't have a car, taking the bus will cost and seeing a certain person isn't a motive anymore. Should I look after her pets? What would you do? To me she's just another person now and I don't really care to be honest, but should I?

Tell her you're busy? And with the extra time on the bus etc you're not sure if you have the time.
I'm sure she knows someone who lives closer.

If you don't want to do it then don't. She'll find someone else.
