Ok I've seen a lot of people on here who are confused about whether to send off the declaration form, even though they've been wrongly assessed i.e non-income assessed when it's meant to be income assessed. I also had the same problem, but i sent the declaration form off anyway. However, today i have received a NEW notification which is says financially assessed, so It's been sorted now.

The main point I'm trying to make is that you SHOULD send off the declaration form even though it may be wrong as the system will catch up with itself.

PLEASE MOD CAN YOU STICKY THIS AS SO MANY PEOPLE ARE CONFUSED ABOUT WHETHER TO SEND IT OFF OR NOT. IN ADDITION, MANY CALLS MADE TO STUDENT FINANCE ARE REGARDING THIS ISSUE.

I just thought I'd let everyone know
