i think the worst i would be happy with is 2A*'s, 2A's and 7B's, but with any luck, i will get better than my predicted grades of 1B, 8A's and 2A*'s

I'm so glad my place at 6th form in September is guaranteed. I'd hate to be one of the people who need, say..."5Cs" just to get in.

best case would be 5A*s or above... would be very happy with that
worst would be more than 1 B, i dont want any Bs! :P and to get Bs in the subjects i want to do at a level i couldnt go to my 1st choice sixth form. if that was the case i'd go to another sixth form and do more fun subjects :P

    im hoping for:
6 A*/A + 4 B's (i cant see me getting all A*'s so ill be ecstatic with those)

    i could survive with: 6 A/A*'s + 3 B's + 1 C or even 6 A/A*'s + 2B's + 2C's

but my worst case scenario would be: more C'S than 2/no A*'s/or any grade lower than a C

I would rather not tempt fate. However, worst case scenario for me is getting 1 A* (the one I have already got) and 9 Us.

So, you were predicted 10A*..you open the envelope and to your dismay, you get lower results..what were you expecting personally?
    I was predicted 9A* and 2As.
    I'm hoping for 4A*s, 4A's and 2Bs.
In the worst case scenario that I can possibly imagine (as GCSE's are easy) I'd get 2A*, 6As, 3Bs.

What does everyone else feel is suitable to expect, compared to what they were predicted?
You are actually in a really good position! Even your worst case scenario is good. The top unis,(oxbridge) look for a mix of A* A and B. You should do great! Im hoping for similar results, 4A* 3A and 3B.

Ha Ha, my school has that policy, 5C-A* or you dont get in. I will get those grades easily unless something goes completely horribly wrong.

I did mine a couple of years ago, but anyway. I didn't have any predictions, but after my exams I was expecting something along the lines of AABBBBBCCC, worst case scenario BBBBCCCCDD, best case scenario A*AAAABBBBB. I ended up with A*A*A*AAAAABC.

Thank you very much ..to be fair to myself, i have tried very hard so i hope my results show that. Oxbridge is what I'm aiming for I think, but I'm not one of those people that are so desperate to go there that no other university looks interesting haha.
