I doubt he'd put anything significant in, not as the tour's still going.

A word flashed up on the top right of the screen just before the ad break. He's gonna go all subliminal on us.

Yeah.

My friend's garden backs onto his primary school, apparently. She's quite obsessed with him. She has his parents' phone number...

Yep.

well, he grew up near there. So did my mum, but she'd never use the word 'manor' in that context.

Why did that woman think africa's a country. And how did he know she would silly enough to pick a continent instead of a country? And if he led her to pick africa, then how come he doesn't know africa's a continent?

Amazing stuff still.

Did anyone else see the lights behind him spelling out FORGET or have you all forgotten the show?

Fairly. As with much of London, the nice areas are mixed in with the not so nice... West London really isn't as nice as that Notting Hill lark makes it out to be, hehe.

I wouldn't walk across the green at night...

that was one of the many subliminal messaging techniques he was using in the show. If you want to see how he does these things, you need to re-watch the show, noting words he says which sound like or are related to the object or number or place he is trying to force into the person's mind.

But how he remembered the streep map's grid numbers I have no idea I'm afraid!

Yeah, I noticed the whole Africa is a continent thing, though perhaps she meant South Africa. Anyhow, I was chuffed - I knew she picked the triangle. I was saying to myself she'd pick the triangle, and then he pointed to it. So I was pleased! The reason I knew she'd pick the triangle, was that Africa, too me, is a triangular continent. Africa just is an upside down triangle, and thus, too me, it made sense that she was to pick the triangle. I don't know how he made her pick Africa though, especially as it's not a country. I got Australia. :frown:

Too be honest I wasn't all that impressed with "The Gathering", seemed quite a bit shitter than his general show "Mind Control" which is very good, and his previous outing of "The Seance". I haven't seen "Messiah" or "Russian Roulette". I'd really like to see "Russian Roulette", although apparently the gun had blanks in all along, well at least, that's what Jersey police say.

He is amazing though. Thing is though, I always think his success is based on how he memorises people, their faces, their expressions, his understanding of them, and the signals they give out. Yet, during "The Gathering" he not only got that lady's name wrong by calling her "Jeanie", (the one after Jeanie), but did anybody else notice that he called the cabbie in the coat, "Lee", even though that wasn't his name? It was the cabbie before him, with the shaved head, and the white shirt on, who was called "Lee". So the fact that he couldn't even remember two names, suprised me a bit, especially if he can memorise the whole of the A-Z. I do like the way he makes up little back stories though, to elaborate on his acts, I think he's a good showman.

Although, in all honesty, "The Gathering" wasn't all that great. I may even be dissapointed if I was in that audience. His trick with the envelopes wasn't that good - and wouldn't you so go for the one with the tick on it?!

I don't know, I just didn't feel it was as shocking as his other stuff. The location at the end was a nice touch I suppose, but also exceedingly predictable once he pulled off the map at the end to reveal that he'd known the cabbie's end location. You just knew instantly, that's where they would be!

Oh yeah, and the word "Forget" which kept flashing up in white. Nice touch. I think I can remember most of it, but there was one point in the show where he was hypnotising someone, and I swear I myself went really limp and sleepy! Lol.

I don't know where he gets his talent, especially considering he's no formal training whatsoever, he studied Law at university, and wanted to be an artist so I hear!
