Baby octopus, very different flavour to adult octopus - I like them in a light crispy flour coating, the tentacles are the best. They're cute too.

Ox tongue, home cooked as well as shop bought cold sliced. They both taste completely different, most people won't even try it in any form - some only like the shop bought sliced and not home cooked. If you want to try it, Waitrose (and possibly Harrods?) sell whole ox tongues for cooking. Think giant tongue the size of your head, that's literally what it is.

I wish I could eat these more often - expensive treats really.

My 60-something mother likes those, and she's the only person I know who likes them. Thus I can only conclude that you like old lady chocolate bars. Picnics are the creme de menthe of the chocolate world.
    but they are so tasty

I love tahini, but most people don't seem to know what it is or how to prepare it!

I adore mushrooms and it seems a lot of people don't :s And brussels sprouts! And broccoli. And pickled red cabbage and pickled beetroot. And celery too.
    Tahini ftw!!
Everything you have said fits me well. I'll add quinoa and chillies, though

I can't really think of anything that weird.

But here's a tip, i'm yet to find a food product that isn't enhanced by adding some sort of cheese.
i fear you don't mean any savoury food product

i make porridge and mix it with phili nearly every day
and i can't get enough of baked beans or chocolate. hardly strange but i have an unhealthy obsession!
