Interesting question, Kyle. Which translates as - I'm not sure of the answer. Which is usually what that translates as, I find.

It does depend on what the director has planned. I think Rory is thinking of doing some physical theatre type stuff in Animal Farm, with different movements for each type of animal. And in rehearsals the warm-up exercises often incorporate experimental elements...

I've been typing up the script over the last few days, and can safely say I'm glad to be involved in such a good play - I kept imagining people auditioning, shame there's still (over) a month to go .

Mother_Russia, I think your speedy set removal skills will come in handy in Theatre Group - that way we can get to the afterparties faster . I think Our Country's Good might have to bag you for our techie team, before one of the other productions steals you, haha.
Sounds brill! If you don't mind me asking what scenes are you focusing on for auditions? I wouldn't mind having a scour through the script at home now!

    Ah, that would be telling...

We'll be using pretty much all of the scenes over the course of auditions and recalls, so all I can really recommend is reading the whole thing, haha!

Seriously, don't worry about the auditions - we'll make sure they're as relaxed and fun as possible, and we'll give you plenty of time to prepare each scene before you get you to perform it in front of us. Most of the time you'll do the scenes in small groups, although occasionally the production team may be looking for people to do monologues .
