seriously, sorry for the amount of forum posts tonight! i am just the biggest stresshead ever and i need some reassurance

so anyone who is getting what the title says, and has the dates for their loan installment amounts for sept, could you tell me how much each installment is?? im getting the maximum maintenence and grant cos my mom doesnt earn much but it hasnt gone through yet and i am desperately trying to work out money (as you can see from the epic amount of posts i have done tonight!) so if anybody could tell me the installment amounts thatd be great

the loan calculator says id be getting-
Maintenance Loan - Paid directly to you £3497
Higher Education Maintenance Grant - Paid directly to you £2906

so basically i want the installment amounts based on those
thanks to anyone who can help A STRESSHEAD!! X
i cant remember exactly but first two are the same and last one is like 100 odd quid more! hope it helps

yess it does! and the thing with the overdraft is, it gets extended each term so first term its £500 only, cant rely on that as for food etc and alcoohl thatll go very soon!
And you should never assume you will get the publicised "maximum" figure - you don't have a god-given right to an overdraft.

I meant the overdraft figures - you know the headline "HBOS give a £3,000 overdraft" sort of thing.

I'm getting the maximum loan/grant combo as well but mine works out slightly different than your one by the looks of things.

    14/09/2009 - Grant = £969.00, Loan = £668.91
    04/01/2010 - Grant = £969.00, Loan = £668.91
    09/04/2010 - Grant = £968.00, Loan = £689.18

    Total - Grant = £2906.00, Loan = £2027.00

    Tuition Loan = £3225.00

    Hope that helps.

When I got £6475 last year I got paid around £2000 in term 1 and 2 and about £2200+ in term 3. So you should have enough to pay your rent

I'm in Liverpool, was about to ask the other guy with the massive grants if he was in London because I know you get more there.

So is the grant payed ontop of your loan?

One of my freinds said you still get the same amount you would normally do but part of it is counted as a grant so you don't haveta pay it back.....is that makes sense O.o
