    Yes you do get your gant paid on top of your loan. When the student loans send you a letter on how much they will pay you ecah term they will mention how much loan you get for the term then how much grant you get at the same time. Those 2 added together is what you will get for the term

    And don't forget that you should get a university bursary as well, on top of your loan and grant.
    The amount and timing will vary from one uni to another: I got £1000 per year and it was paid in two installments: February and May if I remember correctly.

    when did you guys get a letter concerning the dates and fugures? Also my application for the grants has been delayed, will I get arrears if it is delayed??
