    Hi (:

So far I'm taking English Literature, Film Studies and Pyschology at A level. I'm looking into possibly being an English Lit teacher in Secondary schools, or a primary teacher, but thats not even vaguely decided...I have no idea what I want to do really (any ideas on a good career I could do with those subjects would also be appreciated).

As I'm supposed to be in the top 5% of results in my school, I got a letter suggesting I think about taking a fourth A level (they 'recomended it). I don't go to a great school (We only came out of Special Measures 2 years ago) so most people will only be taking 2, or 3 A levels, its a rarity to find someone taking four, and most people who do will drop it at AS level. I'm just mentioning that, because its also something I'm wondering about, whether or not the teachers, infact the school generally, will be able to handle a student taking four A levels...I'd also like your opinion on this.

There isn't a subject I'm particularly passionate about, so I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas as to a subject that would go well with the ones I've picked?

Please don't suggest Media, Maths, Chem, Bio, or Physics. I DESPISE those subjects. Thank you in advance!

What about history? It goes quite nicely with English lit and is a strong subject.

Thanks everyone!! My school doesn't offer English Lang, Politics or Class. Civ and you have to have an A/A* GCSE (I didn't take one) so I think I'll look into History (: Thank you!!

Well just pick one that you are interested in!

Although History is very interesting and so I would look into it!

Have you thought about possibly going to a different sixth form/college at all? Could let you do English Lang, Politics etc. and could be slightly better at teaching if you're school only came out of special measures 2 years ago.
