Hi. Im really frustated as i am meant to be starting university this year (commuting) but then i had doubts and want to do a gap year to ensure my choice is correct. However, it states on the ucas site within ucas track (personal) that....
If we received your application more than 14 days ago...
You can withdraw your application but your application fee will not be refunded. If you do this, you cannot submit another application during the current academic year and you cannot enter Clearing.
Use the option below only if you wish to completely withdraw and do not intend to apply for higher education courses through UCAS in this application cycle..
Once you click on 'yes' below you will be logged out of Track and will not be able to log in again
Are you sure you want to withdraw your application - no refund will be made.
However, I DO WANT TO APPLY FOR UNI AGAIN NEXT YEAR (fresh application) so why does it state the above in red.....please help thanks..

"in this application cycle" means this year. So if you want to withdraw this year, you're fine.

Yeah you're ok. It just means for this year.

Yeah - It just means this application cycle - as in the entry 2009. You can apply as normal next year
