    Hi Guys/Gals

    TBH - Last year I needed more than my school asked.

    So what should I (being realistic) bring for my next school year?

    NB: I have already got the following:

    * 5 Blue Pens
    * 4 Highlighters
    * 20 Pencils
    * Geometry Set
    * Pencil Case

    Thanks,

    Simon

    Whatever you needed for last year, there is no difference between 8 and 9 at all.

    Calculator?

    Other than that you won't really need anything else, although I have a bit of a thing for coloured fine liner pens :o:

    Year 8 and 9 will be the same staionery wise :girl:

    Year 8 and 9 are the same.
    You might need a rubber/eraser, and a ruler.
    Sharpener maybe? And a calculator. Scissors/Glue would help.

    Year 9 is fun

    I'm the youngest one here.

    And my school supplies Books and planners (well you have to pay a £1 for them... but they are really nice)

    you're the same age as my 'baby' sister :p:
    Our planners used to cost us £3 - but the were privately printed, rather than these coloured boomerang monstrosities filled with adverts that state schools seem to get around here :p:

    black pens may be a good idea...red or green for any side notes/corrections maybe?

    you dont need that many pencils providing the geometry set has a sharpener, take 4/5

    and i assume the geometry set has a ruler and rubber too

    and you should take a calculator unless your school provides them (you should have a scientific one at year 9)

    why the hell are you worrying about stationary for year 9?? Its no different to what you will have needed for years 7 and 8. except for maybe a scientific calculator.

    Year 9 doesn't matter in the slightest, especially now they've got rid of SATs, so there's really no point fretting over such trivial matters (how exactly do you think your stationary needs will differ significantly from the last two similarly pointless years?)
