    Hey ladies,

Just a quick question, but does anyone know where I get the lil white strips that are lil guidelines for doing french manicures??? I have just come back from Sally's and they don't do them, apart from fake nails which I am not using - URGH (no offence to those who use false nails)!

    Any ideas???

I got mine in a Sally Hansen french manicure set. Maybe look here: http://www.sallyhansen.co.uk/ in case they're sold individually too. If you need them asap, however...maybe pop to the larger Boots stores, they seem to have large sections dedicated to manicure/nail care stuff.
Or maybe invent something out of masking tape and cover up the whole of your nail that you don't want painted white. But maybe save that for an emergency!

    Hope that helps

And how exactly was that helpful?

OP, try searching for adhesive french manicure strips or guides on ebay or google, I found these for you:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SALLY-HANSEN-7...QQcmdZViewItem
Sally Hansen also do a french manicure pen that you can just brush on the tips without a guide but I have no experience of it whatsoever!

Have you looked at the nail section in Boots? I'm sure I've seen those guideline things in Boots....

Has the guidelines in but has the polish as well so I don't know if that's what you're looking for

EDIT: also on Amazon - just the guides http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sally-Hansen.../dp/B00005349D

I used to get them from Boots, near the section that sells sally hansen products, buffers, files etc.
However, recently got a Rimmel white manicure polish for doing tips with and it has a slanted brush which is really handy and quite easy to get a straight edge without using the strips.

Its only the guidelines I will be using to follow - they aren't staying on!
