I'm so fed up with my hair and I would LOVE some ideas - Yes this thread is inspired by other current threads.

Currently: It is brown, side parted, has a few layers, is a few inches below my shoulders and a mixture of wavy/curly/flicky - but straightens easily. I have quite a round face and know from experience that a full fringe looks awful!

I want it long (at least almost to my shoulders at the longest part), I want to experiment, and to play with colours :yep: , I am happy to have different lengths throughout... and I would quite a lot to be taken back off my face - if that makes any sense! Like no big fringe covering my face

Best bit - my boyfriends treating me :woo:

Pos rep for great idea/ones I like

ir depends on your face shape but this style looks gorgeous on my mates hair

the side fringe could be made shorter and the style can be messed up using wax

I really recommend a Pob with a side part. It looks great on a round face (I have one too lol), and, since your hair straightens well, it'd be a very easy style to create. It doesn't have a fringe, either/

You want one that's not thick like this:

but more straight and sleek like this:

    or this:

I guess you could even add highlights if you like.

    Good luck!

Edit: The style was popularized by Victoria Beckham and is also known as a "Posh Bob," if you want to tell your hairdresser exactly which style it is.
    I LOVE this hair style.

It looks good, but I don't know if it would just really accentuate a round face?

OP, I'm wanting a complete re-style too so I don't have any suggestions except to have a good look around, find something you like and then try to tailor it to yourself.

I'm a bit worried that the shortness of the suggestions will not flatter my roundish face (although it is slightly more oval than round - oval egg ways not ET ways  ) I was thinking of something a bit longer.

I'm definitely going to see if I can tailor ideas to suit me... I like the parting on the second Idea.

If you have layers in your hair the pob wont be like thge sleek and straight ones in the first pictures
and be careful with a layerd bob because sometimes it goes a bit like a helmet! ha

I would honestly love hair like that - Not with those roots though :p:

Do you think it's easy to manage though? As it's more styling than just the cut.

I would think it would be okay to manage, if you looked after it.

    She's gorgeous!

And if I was going short with my hair I'd pick something like this - I reckon it would be versatile too

I was going to suggest something similar to this, I have a round-ish face and a less layered/Longer version 'Rachel' cut really works with a swooping fringe. You then flick some out rather than curl it all in. My hair is quite long now but when it was first styled I had a darkish brown base, lighter brown and blondish highlights put through and it was gorgeous.

But with a rounder face you cant have it shaped too much at the front at chin level or it will frame it too much like the Pob which I agree with TheOneWho is hit and miss for your face shape.
