Course they do. The plus side of university relationships is the time you're apart is the holidays. So it's easy enough to go on holidays or breaks away together. Plus it's easy enough to stay in uni houses during holidays to spend extra time together. Besides, people are generally at uni for a lot more of the year than at home anyway.
.
I moved in to my flat in halls at the end of September and got on particularly well with one guy.
We spent most of our time together and by December we were a couple.
8 months later, we're still together.
However another two of our flatmates ended up in a relationship and it didn't last long.
So there's no one answer here - Uni relationships are as varied as any other relationships.
Living together can be quite stressful and suffocating as well, but there we go.

it depends, most of the guys i've gone out with only go into relationships for fun at uni and to get sex, some don't take it seriously enough.
