How offensive is this term? I'm guessing it mainly applies to female people in this case. I as a male would like to be squishier.

I tend to use 'squishy' affectionately although for many people it may just be seen as 'fat'.

Also, many people nowadays in the UK believe that the term 'curvy' is just a euphemism for 'overweight' - I'm not so sure about 'squishy' though.

Are you a female person? Would you find this offensive?

    Poll attached.

    squish.

It makes me feel like a teddybear :awesome: well, it's certainly a bit nicer than being called 'fat', in any case.

If someone called me curvy, I'd assume they were talking about my waist:hip ratio because I'm certainly not fat anymore. Therefore, I'd be pretty flattered. However, I'm trying very hard to be the opposite of 'squishy' so yeah I would be offended if someone called me that lol.

If someone called me curvy I wouldn't be offended as thats quite nice. If someone called me squishy though, I'd probably stick my fist in their mouth just kidding - but I would be pretty offended

It's reasonably offensive to a male, but more of a compliment to a female

I'm surprised so many female people consider 'squishy' to be offensive!

I mean, if someone really wanted to offend you surely they would just call you 'obese' straight off, right?

    squish.
