I don't think I've been in love before (and if I was it was a bit disappointing) I hope to love someone in the future, it'd be a bit sad if you couldn't

I'd say that I've been on love once...but it's very hard to tell.
It's hard to distinguish between love and lust. I think love takes a long time to feel (none of this first sight crap) and that you're only truely in love when you can be yourself with the other person, and vice versa. Only when you can happily accept all of a persons qualities and faults (not just the lusty element of 'omfg he's so hot and I wanna touch him') can you be in love.
Of course, it's very easy to convince yourself that a person is perfect for you and that you're in 'love' but when I've looked back at it from a more objective point of view i've been like :rolleyes:

what was I thinking??
