It's December the first tomorrow, and I still don't have an interview date from Cambridge. I've been having trouble getting post lately, and I'm worried that they've sent something which I never got. Is it ok to call them tomorrow and ask? For all I know, the interview is this week. They don't just reject without interview do they? They asked for essays, which I sent in a few weeks ago. Thanks.

A few people with poor GCSEs/AS's (by Oxbridge standards, that is) are rejected without interview, but I would expect that the rejections were sent out at the same time as the requests to interview. A few people are still receiving requests now from what I read....

Well if they reject you they tell you, so asume you're still in with a chance. You should hear soon enough, but a call tomorrow would be a good idea. They sent me a pink form to send off before the interview, I should really sort it out

Quite a few colleges only give a notice of one week before an interview, so I wouldn't worry - by all means call if you want to be reassured though
