# algebra question help watch

1. i have this formula.

a = (b-x)/x

how do i rearange to get x on its own?
2. Post in the Maths forum?

Multiply through by x initally to get rid of the fraction giving

Group all the x terms together, and do something to help you reduce the two x terms to one...
