Hello everyone! Results day is closing in! Choices are being made!
Right know I'm considering Leicester for Clearing because I was told that was really good for computer science by a former student and a current Leicester professor but I'm also holding an offer for University of Edinburgh.

Which one is better at these subjects?

I know that Edinburgh is more well known generally.

Oh and also in Edinburgh I need to study 4years for a BSc and Leicester only 3 I suppose. This is really important to me because I feel like i'm wasting one year at Edinburgh.

Huh I'm international so I'd like some feedback from UK people.

    Ty! cheers!

    Hey,

I'm a maths student at Leicester but I was also offered a place at Edinburgh. One of the things to consider when choosing between the 2 would be the cost of living (I have a friend at Edinburgh who pays £20 a week more rent than me for a smaller room). I also decided a 4 year Bsc course wasn't for me.

Leicester is a lovely uni, and becoming more well know having been University of the Year 2009.

Have you been offered a place on the joint honours course? I can highly recommend the Maths dept at Leicester, but know nothing about Computer Science haha.
