I heard that foundation around the eye area and on the eye lids brighten up the eyelids, but when I try this I just end up making them look grey? Is this because I'm probably using the wrong shade of foundation maybe?

Also I'm going to do a Prescriptives Colour Match and was wondering whether anyone has tried this and whether its any good?

    Thanks x

I've tried concealer too though and it just looks too obvious rather than brightening up my dark eye area.

Your not using the right foundation
ask someone at the counter to help you or something

Like mentioned above you'll need a concealer to brighten the eye area as foundation is designed to even out the skin tone wheras concealers, especially under eye ones (i strongly reccomend touche eclat) focus on hiding dark circles etc. But definitely go see a specialist as she can reccomend the right products for your skin tone

I've always used Prescriptives foundation and love it (currently Flawless Skin). They told me not to put foundation around the eye because the skin there is really delicate? When you go just ask them I guess...I use YSL Touch Eclat to brighten my eyes but to be honest I hardly notice a difference.
