This may be in the wrong board, but it kinda promotes healthy eating...

Whenever I go to the cinema, I always end up with a massive cup of pepsi and a bag of sweets....

What could healthy alternatives be?

I have tried fruit juice, but drinking it that long continuously makes a horrible taste in the mouth, and water seems a bit dull.

Fruit can be noisey and sticky - or smelly..

So what dya reckon?

A bottle of water and a bag of grapes.......
But going to the cinema is more fun if you have a massive bucket of pop corn and a fizzy drink!
Bottle of water especially if you're kissing someone; their mouth goes really cold..hmm, i'll shut up now.

Well, you could get a small salty popcorn (not sweet, more calories) and a diet fizzy drink at worst!
Pepsi Max has no sugar! I expect someone else can explain how it'll give you cancer and ruin everything good in the world generally, but I like it, and it wont make you fat.

And popcorn's not too bad for you, I don't think, especially if you have salted instead of sweet (which, luckily for me I prefer... is that I sign that I'm becoming a grown up?) It's better for you than sweets anyway, methinks.
A salad? Shouldn't be too noisy me thinks.

Gum, diet soft drinks, s/f hard candy (don't eat too many though, they'll play with your digestive system). Or, nothing.

a packet of dried friut bits and a diet soft drink

my fave is the mango ones from m&s that are still a bit squidgy

mmmmmmmmmmmm!
Why eat at all in the cinema? I never really eat at the cinema...I just tend to take some water incase I want a drink. I have taken some raw carrot a few times..its fun to eat and not really messy at all  Popcorn is quite healthy if it is plain!!

What's the harm in having popcorn and a fizzy drink at the cinema? I do but then I don't go often and I don't eat popcorn and drink fizz at home.

what an odd thread....

There is no harm in it..I just don't let myself eat at the cinema becuase I think it is pointless snacking. If I was hungry then I might have something but I don't want to fall into the habit of ooh I am watching a film therefore I must eat lots of junk.

I took a pork pie in with me once. I have no idea why I did this and on reflection it was a really bad idea because it smelt funny.

Hehe, cool. Does she get them in ok? I bought a sandwich once and I was going to eat it during the film but I had it in a plastic bag and it got confiscated </3
