Having a very large 'what is the ******* point :indiff:' moment.
There's a lot of point you have many things going for you, you have a job, you're going to uni, you've got friends to spend time with, you're an awesome person, I could go on

Good luck to those with results very soon I'm sure you'll be fine :grouphugs:

Mmm. I have a job that is essentially being the publics ***** for 12 hours a week. I'm going to uni to study a massively over subscribed subject that has no *real* career path - I'm not strong enough for clinical psych as I'd want to do, I have very little interest in other areas of psychology right now :o: apart from maybe Neuropsych, both of which are hard and ardous to get into. Everyone else seems to have a plan, you know? I have things that I want, but no idea how to get them. Sigh. I don't feel like I have any worth in society :nothing:

:hugs: All I can really say to that is that I don't feel like I have any worth in society either.

Society is a silly thing to measure your worth by, your worth is how happy you are as a person, whether you feel like you're doing what you want to do, what your heart is telling you to. Your course may not have career prospects, but I don't really think that's the point in going to university? Plans seem generally pointless to me, as long as you have a vague idea of where you're heading, then that's perfectly fine; in reality, things will probably change and you'll be somewhere/do something which you never really thought of/expected at the time. You just need to take life one step at a time :hugs:

but you have an aim? to go to university, get a degree in something you're interested in, then pursue a career in that area? I think that's as good as an aim

My body feels so numb yet the atmosphere feels so stifling, so tense and so painful.

Not really. I still can't think that far ahead. I'm terrified that I'll get to 30 and have achieved nothing because I'm always thinking of the moment, not of the future.

Miserable day. Kept getting rained on, and I think my suicidal thoughts are getting more frequent again.

Did 80 lengths just to shut my head up. Good but knackered and I've stuffed my face since I got home, thus defeating the object of doing all the exercise :sigh:

Hello, only just discovered this soc.
I was just wondering, I've been on Fluoxetine (prozac) for about 3 weeks now, and it makes me really nauseous, does anyone else get this?
I don't mind it really, it's much better than where I was before!

SSRIs have a tendency to make you feel nauseous to start with but it should wear off after a bit.

If it's really bad you could ask your doctor for some anti-nausea pills. I was on some for a while (although I can't say they actually helped me ).

    Welcome to the society.

Just makes you think doesn't it.

    TSR is a joke.

Full of young people who think they are adults and know everything about life.

I dont see why anyone ******* uses this forum.

If I want tech advice I will go to a specific tech forum, if I want fitness advice I will go to a specialised fitness forum.

If I want a load of trolls and teenagers who think they know everything about life then I will come to ******* TSR.
