Right, first off I know nobody here is an professional but I'm gonna ask just to see if people have an idea.

I have recently - since this heat kicked in - had a load of itchy little red spots pop up on my leg, arms and neck that are itchy as ****.

They're not bumpy like usual gnat bites are though. I'm thinking it could be a reaction to the heat as I had the same last year or maybe something else.

    Any ideas?

    Ta.

Got exactly the same thing- some are gnat bites which are lumpy, some are gnat bites which aren't lumpy and some could be a heat reaction. I've been lumping loads of Savlon like cream on to stop the itching.

Sounds like it could be heat rash to me - you can usually get rid of it by putting on stuff like Savlon and taking something like Piriton!
