    Hi,

I have never written on a forum before but people seem to get useful replies so I thought id give it a go. I graduated from medicine 3 years ago and have been working as a doctor since, I'm currently considering changing to vet. I just wondered if anyone else had done this before and if they have any advice concerning fees, application etc? Thanks

The Liverpool vet school website gives the minimum work experience they are looking for from applicants - if you can meet this you should be able to apply anywhere.

Are you looking at 5 yr or graduate entry? The fees look substantial either way as a second degree.

Can't help further than that but good luck

You will probably get more replies in the vet sub-forum.
All of the unis expect particular amounts of work experience, and obviously you would have to explain why you want to change careers so they know that you are dedicated to being a vet.
