    Chuggers don't understand politeness. They chase you down the street, even when you're clearly busy or on the phone, they shout at you, and they hurl abuse if you refuse to sign up to their little schemes.

    If a charity can afford to waste excessive amounts of money on these scrotes, they don't need my money.
    You're as weak as water. They prey on that.

    The best way to deal with them is to ask them for money. Say you've had your wallet nicked and need a bit of money for the bus home, see if they'll give you a bit of cash even if its just a quid. If they start talking about their charity just nod my head and say yes and get back onto the topic of you needing a bit of cash for the bus or for a sandwich. They will soon stop hassling you. This one also works with those people who come up and ask if you've had any accidents or injuries in the last three years.
