    Hi,

I have never written on a forum before but people seem to get useful replies so I thought id give it a go. I graduated from medicine 3 years ago and have been working as a doctor since, I'm currently considering changing to vet. I just wondered if anyone else had done this before and if they have any advice concerning fees, application etc? Thanks

Hi my sister was at Leicester 3 years in to her medicine degree and she changed to RVC. You get a loan for the cost under the second degree scheme. You will get it. Apply again through ucas.
However most people won't changed due to the redcuced salary.

obviously you would have to do another degree. you either need a lot of money to go somewhere like edinburgh where they just accept all graduates that can afford to pay, or you will need a lot of work experience etc to apply to nottingham and RVC which hae the reduced graduate fees. but you will need to show that youa re commited and have a bloody good reason for wanting to change.

you will get better advice if you post in the vet forum probably
