I'm gonna go to the school with my parents. I will pick the envelope off the table. Then I'll go outside, so that if I hyperventilate (for either good or bad reasons) there will at least be some air. Then I'll show my parents - and peers, if I feel like it.

Hopefully it will be cause for jubilation, and a day at the pub will be in order

I opened them with friends, we all agreed to wait until everyone was there
Ahh, it was like the particles in a solid. All packed closely together before heat and tension was applied causing them to split and head off home. :p:

i don't know what it will be like for A2's becuase i was away for my AS results day but with my GCSE's we had to open them in front of a teacher and confirm the results. It was ok becuase i had good results but it was torture for those that didn't.

I hope they don't do that for A2's

Why doesn't everyone get it from the post? Seems more private and you don't have to travel to school to get your results.

I'll check my results online at 0600.

My sis is going into school, collecting her envelope and then going to Costa with a mate to open them there.

I get the envelope and then wait for my bf, then wait while he opens them, we take them in, then I open mine.

This year I'm hundreds of miles away from my school, so I'm having them posted, and also a friend is going to email them to me.

    Ooh.
I havent actually thought about it.
Of course i'll go to college, this year because we're A2 students, we get to go to the library for our results rather than the canteen. Very exciting.

I think i might want to open them privately, i'm the only one out of my friends who's going to university - so if i fail than i'd rather be by myself - they wouldnt be able to sympathise although you can bet they'll bloody try.

at out results day it was loads of sheets of papers as well. The teachers were standing behind the desk and they handed you your sheet of paper, but what was soo annoying was that they were reading the results as they were handing it out. The teacher said to me, you havent done bad! I was so annoyed with her! I wanted to read it myself

I'll come as your handluggage. All I need are boardies, flipflops and shades. You can provide the suncream.
