Ha it sucks at my school on results day they have everyone's result sheet pinned up on about 10 whiteboards as well as giving you an envelope.

    Quite cruel actually....

I think thid year it'll be similar to when we got our GCSEs. That day, if I remember rightly, we'd arranged to go to school at around the same time, but we all opened results when we got them and waited for the others, then went into town. This year may well also involve a lot more tears, and probably phonecalls to unis for some of my friends, but otherwise may be similar.

For ASs last year we didn't meet up or aqnything, but when I got my results my best friend was just leaving, so she told me her results and stuck around while I opened mine. One other friend was there who I talked to a bit, but otherwise just went home and basically played WoW for the rest of the day . And the odd phonecall.

UCAS track. If I get in, no nervousness whatsoever when I go into College, so I guess I'll just rip them open for modular scores :awesome:

Yeah, so set alarm for 6am or 7am and check then. Looking through the 08 thread, some people had theirs update at 12ish 1ish, maybe some slip through and get updated. :|

I think I may stay up all night, just for the sake of it y'know.
I'm not even sure what time my school has said to arrive for results; I'll check that out sometime!

In the past, I've opened it up with friends. I hate doing this but it always tends to happen on the day.

Saying that though, I'm usually the last to open it...and if it wasn't for my friends, I probably wouldn't even open my envelope. :p:

I'm from Scotland so I open the email, find out my results, then get the paper copy in the post.
I'd hate going into school to get results! :|

I doubt I'd have the bottle to open my results on camera unless I'd checked Track in the morning and found out I definitely had my place first!
not to make anyone panic or anything, but you wouldn't want something like this to happen:

I saw this when it was broadcast last year.....
edit: broadcast, broadcasted. eh. you decide.

    It's... ouch-worthy.
Bein the presenter in that situation can't be easy either... "Well done. Oh, you've not got to where you wanted. Err... weather. Can we do weather yet? Lets move to the weather! Damn, I've got to finish off my five-minute slot. Crap, crap. So, err... what does that mean for you?"

I open them alone by the results table then go to my friends. I never leave without speaking to my friends and we usually all go out afterwards, lol.
