no... tubigrip it, take some painkillers, ice it and rest it. try to keep it raised if at all possible, but sprains need to heal themselves... just cope with the pain for a couple of weeks...

i sprained my writing wrist and bruised all the bones in that hand on saturday night and it reeeally hurts :frown:
anyone done the same before? any miracle remedies?!

Not much other than resting it.....if it gets sore and hot use an ice pack, ive sprained many things before and there isnt much you can do... :frown:

don't wear tubigrips in bed. apparently!

yeah, it can give you circulation issues.. or if you really need the support, you can get away with just wearing it not doubled up when you sleep

i sprained my left wrist twice - once by falling on it and the second, by falling. couldnt open doors with my left hand for a while and was ded unhappy. takes about 2/3 weeks to heal.

If you have exams, tell your school so they can get someone to write for you.

Anyway, just keep it still and comfy. I broke my wrist a few years ago and I found a well-tied crepe bandage supported it excellently until they gave me a cast.

i feel for you bcos iv hurt my wrist and they think its sprained. it really hurts and im getting fustrated coz i cant do anything! im going to the drs 2morow. i hope u feel better soon and if its ur writing hand make sure u get something sorted for ur exams. thank g-d i already have a laptop arranged 4 other reasons (which iz also y my wrist has probably sprained)
