What happens if you don't get studnet finance on time?

What happens if you don't get student finance before the start of term? Do you wait until you get student finance, or do they cancel it and tell you to wait next year?

I think you have to wait.

I've heard people went missing after not getting their student finance on time . Don't worry though , half of them come back in good condition.
You never get student finance before the start of term, you get it at the start of term. And if you were late submitting the forms, you'll probably get your money late.
I presume from his other thread he means getting the form processed and getting the notification back.

You'll get the money, but late.

it gets backdated so you will get what you are entitled to, but you may have short term cashflow problems. You have a number of options while you wait, credit card, overdraft, bank of mum and dad, get a job or if your desperate have a word with the university and they will sort you out a short term loan to tie you over
