    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of an online calculator (or software) that lets me type in stuff like "(-5+3*(-2))²*2" and gives me the result.
I'm supposed to help a friend with some maths homework and I'd like to check that my solutions are actually correct.

Google does it. Type in "(-5+3*(-2))^2 * 2".

or firefox has a 'status bar scientific calculator' add on which lets you do all that and type in stuff like 1+(sin(20)*3)-cos(54)^3 and thats pretty darn handy

Hmm. Is there anything that lets you type it in as you would write it? Like LaTex, but it actually calculates it for you?
