[QUOTE=indigoblue]It just said on channel 4 news, that there was a riot in Birmingham city centre this afternoon.

they said it was between 'the english defence league' and anti-racist rioters. then it showed
a gang of black guys chasing after this white boy and stamping on him.
i hate when people confuse dark skin asians with black, if black is not involved in a violent uprising, no one seems to be happy, i've seen those pictures and can't find any real black person there. you need to up your observation skills, on the street of brum, black guys and asians guys aint the best of friends, it is alittle bit different for white guys as many of them respect us.
i'm tired of this **** going on, each day i walk on the street watching my back, violence won't stop immigration nor will it stop extremism, an eye for an eye makes the world go blind, it is the innocent that will be the victim of this ****, why not voice your displeasure through voting or even signing petitions. truth be told, you can't stop extreminism with violence, those muslim youths are hard and will do anything to defend their hood.

dont forget that you get the black somalians who are muslims too, so when it comes to anti-islam, expect both races (asians, blacks (somalians mostly)

I don't attribute, the abduction and rape of the Jacyee lee Dugard to all Caucasians so you shouldn't do the same.
There's no real reason for you to attribute Jacyee Lee Dugard's abduction and rape to all white people, whereas there is reason, in my opinion, to attribute violence perpetrated by some Muslims against gay people to all Muslims (or at least the homophobic majority). To give you another example, as I am sure you know, thousands of black people were lynched throughout the Deep South during most of the 20th century. Now I don't have statistics but I assume that it was only a minority of people who took part in those disgusting lynchings. I have no doubt, however, that the majority of people residing in those areas held deeply racist views against black people. So while the majority did not take part in those lynchings (and were opposed to them), I would argue that their general hatred of black people created a climate where such actions could be perpetrated with relative ease and that they are, therefore, indirectly responsible for the lynchings.

No there is a real reason, the majority of such acts (as reported) are carried out by Caucasians, not any other race though we are all mature enough not to attribute these actions to white people in general. Secondly, homosexuals hardly "come out" in Muslim communities that's why attacks are rare and much lower than the attacks in non Muslim communities
    http://www.pinknews.co.uk/news/articles/2005-13925.html

Secondly, despite the teachings of the Quran, it's hard to find the lynching of homosexuals in the Muslim countries on the scale that it happened to blacks in the US. We can find many teachings that are racist to black people in Judaism but we're not going to call all Jews racist.

There are extremists in every society, no one is perfect.

Im completely against both sides in this protest, they made the city centre a frightening and unsafe place to be yesterday. The media seem to be reporting that the EDL are the ones who are to blame for everything and im in no way defending them by saying this but in both protests now the EDL group are not the ones who have been attacking the police and staying in the city centre well after the clash of groups has ended to chase after and attack random people walking through the streets.

No there were definitely black people at the first protest

I think black people steered clear of the second one though, while Asians were all too happy to turn up, and I am aware that black people and Muslims have been killing each other in Birmingham

Why do people describe the UAF as Communist? They don't have any other policies other than opposing racism/fascism. Communism is far more than merely that.
There seems to be a bit of crossover between socialist groups and "anti-fascist" groups in general. Probably because they attract the same kind of people to their membership.

EDL On The Run In Birmingham- (Read Full Video Description For More Detail)

Violence erupted in Birmingham on Saturday 8th August 2009 between Anti Fascist Protesters and a group calling themselves the English Defence League and Casuals United who are made up of racists from the National Front, Combat 18 and the British National Party who provoked voilence by going around making racist comments & Intimidating women and children.

This is a glimpse into what occured and the video is for educational purposes. Only for 18+!

Recently further riots broke out on the weekend with the same EDL minor political party and United Against Fascism.

I am not a EDL supporter, Muslim, or have any affiliations with this video or EDL.

Seems to get the bad bits from the EDL in this video, clearly posted by someone who is anti EDL. As far as I am concerned, they are as bad as each other. The only reason any of them turned up was to get into a fight.

In no way do I agree with the EDL, however the irony of an Anti-Facist group attacking a demonstration is quite funny.

Did I see UAF people chucking stuff at the start? I wish I could say I'm surprised, but I've been disgusted by them ever since one of their figureheads went on television advocating censorship and political oppression. "against facism" my ass.

Are UAF actually doing some fighting? I thought they left that to AFA. Although that is pretty tame.

Whilst I'm a liberal and fully support freedom of speech and the right to demonstrate, there is something about seeing fascists shown up as cowardly morons that warms the heart. If they're the master race, surely they would be fit enough to stand their ground? :toofunny:

Videos like that, made with a bias against the EDL, have the opposite effect by making people realise that the supposed 'non-violent demonstrators' are just as bad as the EDL. Or at least that's what it makes me think i.e. about 3:15 into the video it's about 7 on 1 with the white guy on the floor. Nice...

So are you a fascist if you want England to be white and British?

In that case, almost everyone down the ages was fascist.

I hate our modern society and I hate how the scum at the top sold out everyone for a few pieces of silver
