    Probably a black suit. (Either dinner suit or a work suit).
    As long as they were the only "statement" item then they could work, could being the operative word as I don't know you.

    If you're confident though then go for it. Life's too short to give a crap about what other people think of your shoes.

    In terms of what else you would wear with them, I would advise only wearing black suits, anything else would be too much. Then either a white shirt and black tie, or a white tie and black (or some other dark colour) shirt.

    It depends on what you wear them with and when.

    Wearing them just to go out no but wear to a event like eveing dinner ball then yes.
