The Sir John Swire Scholarship

Hi,

I just wonder if anyone knows about how to apply to the Sir John Swire Scholarship. I have been accepted to read MSc Economics for Development this October at St Anthony's. I contacted the College Secretary to ask about the scholarship but they gave very general response i.e just write a letter of interest. Anyone got any advice? And how fierce is competition for this scholarship?

Not sure about the Sir John Swire Scholarship, but I've been offered the Swire Centenary and Cathay Pacific Scholarship to read the MPhil in International Relations at St Antony's from this October.

Hi and congratulation! When did you hear the news about the scholarship? I just found out last week that I was also offered the Sir John Swire Scholarship to read MSc Economics for Development at St Antony's this October so see you there =) Do you know how many people applied for this scholarship? I read that only one person is offered at a time (for each scholarship). Is that right? Are you from Hong Kong? Are there any conditions regarding the scholarship e.g working for Swire or something like that?

Scarlet, I ran into your post the other day. I'll also be reading for the same degree as you this October! Congrats on your scholarship; will you be going down early for the math course?
