I didn't pick my name with any inkling of that symbol,
    Noooooooooooooo. Perish the thought!

The triskele that looks like three linked sevens has a high degree of association with white supremacy Neo-Nazis, racist skinheads (especially those associated with the group Blood & Honour); AWB Afrikaner Resistance

    http://www.adl.org/hate_symbols/racist_celtic_cross.asp

This is one of the most popular symbols for neo-Nazis and white supremacists. First popularized by the Ku Klux Klan, the symbol was later adopted by the National Front in England and other racists such as Don Black on his Web site, Stormfront, and the racist band Skrewdriver to represent international "white pride."

You've been here quite a while and you've consistently made your sympathies to the BNP pretty plain. The symbol you use in your avatar on its own might not have been enough, but combined with the views you express I think it's pretty reasonable to suspect you are a neo-Nazi.

The ADL are themselves a hate group as far as I'm concerned.

They try and claim that Christianity is inherently anti-semitic and that anti-semitism is worse than in 1930's Germany.

And considering your leftist persuasions I'm sure that they are many things that you hate about the ADL such as their Zionism.

Certain churches have a long and documented history of anti-Semitism. Your second claim is garbage.

Zionism cuts across the left-right spectrum. Israel was established by Socialists, armed in the 1948 war by Stalin via Czechoslovakia.

I support Israel within the Green Line.

They weren't just talking about certain Churches but Christianity itself.

"We currently face as great a threat to the safety and security of the Jewish people as the one we faced in the 1930s—if not a greater one."

Christianity is inherently anti-semitic. Surely you've heard the expression 'Christ-killers' for Jews? The roots of early Christianity in Jewish dissidents mean it had to be anti-semitic by nature, and that legacy is still part of it's inherent mythology...

You're conflating two issues. The first is that they believe Christianity to be fundamentally anti-semitic, which it is.

The second is that they believe that there's a greater threat to Jewish people today than there was in the 30's. Which is much more doubtful.

    Absolute bigoted nonsense.

Yes, they have been idiots who tried to justify their own beliefs with dubious theology but no serius Christian could come to such a conclusion.

    Christianity is inherently anti-racist.

And what does a commie know about Christianity anyway?

Well, I expect by now you've seen the kind of divisive, hate-filled fascism the UAF can whip up, even in the peace activists from the Religion Of Peace, who were so peaceful today, they were throwing bottles and bricks at the police and generally smashing the place up, even though there was no-one to fight. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8251598.stm

Well done, UAF, you must be very proud. You've managed to whip up more racism, more hatred, more anger, and divide more communities.

The best thing people who genuinely want peace can do is to look at the wall of shame http://www.uaf.org.uk/aboutUAF.asp?choice=4 and then write to their local MP and ask if they really support egging and bricking and violence and the kind of fascism that comes through the UAF's thug-fests.

I've had the reply from Cameron - he is NOT a supporter of the UAF (as they have listed him). I'd be interested to see what YOUR MP says!

Actually a few English Defence Pussies did put in an appearance but got run out of town. They won't be back any time soon.

Self defence is not only a right - it is the only intelligent response to aggression.

But that does not mean that anti-semitism is inherent in Christian belief. (Just what one has to believe in order to be a Christian is a different question!)

The roots of early Christianity in Jewish dissidents mean it had to be anti-semitic by nature, and that legacy is still part of it's inherent mythology...
I don't see why the fact that Christians were Jewish dissidents means they have to be anti-semitic. Firstly, they were dissidents from a religious perspective, whilst anti-semitism is a racist position: Being an anti-semite is hatred of people from a semitic background, not hatred for people with a Judaic religion.

Secondly, the fact that Christians were dissidents from the Jewish religion does not mean that Christians have to hate people of the Jewish faith, or hate the Jewish religion, any more than Mormons have to hate Christians or Christianity.

(Lets face it, Christianity is a Jewish sect, started by devoutly religious yet not establishment Jews, with their own twists and interpretations and applications of Jewish beliefs. Much like religious groupings in out of the way places in the USA, where cults may start up around people who see themselves as devoutly religious but are not ranking members of a large church, like Catholic church or the CofE. Jesus was the David Koresh of 30 a.d.!)

I agree with their feelings towards the BNP and other 'fascist' organizations, I agree with protesting against them, but peacefully; or you're just as bad as them.

The BNP may be a vile bunch but they have a right to free speech.
English defence league isn't associated with the BNP, loads of the founders are mixed race + They only stand for one purpose - to demonstrate against islamic extremism. Not all muslims and not against different colors. The most worrying element of british society in my opinion is islamic extremists preaching on our streets. Thank god some of the more of extreme elements far right have started to gain support, not because I want them to be in power but because I want a balance inbetween the two, otherwise we are ******.
