Just before I start I'd like to say hi.

With that set aside I'd just like to know how I'd go about applying for resits in Jan 2010. I'm not too sure if I need to contact my exam boards or if I do it through the sixth form I'm in on the day of results (which I'm dreading for some units).

You do it through your sixth form. It's very easy, your teachers may even do it for you.

Oh really? Well that's reassuring but I'm quite sure that's the last thing my subject teachers want to hear on results day.

If you need to resit in 2010 you really need to talk to your exams officer/teachers as soon as you decide because although the awarding bodies are producing A2 exam papers for the old specifications individual schools/colleges may not offer them to students if there isn't enough demand.

Well I've already decided that I'll need to resit 2/3 exams since I know they didn't go well but I've got no way to contact since I'm on holiday and I don't get back home until the 18th so I'll need to talk to our exams officer on results day, I don't think it'll be too late as the registration date isn't over until mid September, right?

Sure you have plenty of time after you get your results just didn't want you to assume it would be all OK like past years and then be disappointed. Good luck
