What's the deal with changing fee status during the length of your course? I've heard that some universities don't allow it, but aren't they obliged to? If I get indefinite leave, or if I get a British passport, don't they have to change it upon request?

Anybody have any experiences? Do you get refunded all the extra money from previous years (doubt it)?

    thanks

to me that seems as though if you meet all the requirements they should change it. i doubt you would get any refunds.

I was wondering if they would do it when I got a UK passport but not if I get indefinite leave to remain
