    do i need to learn to sew on buttons incase they come off the shirts trousers etc?????????

    You'll need to be able to iron your uniform too - but you'll be taught that.

    S_W: Lets look at this logically. If a button comes off, who is going to sew it back on? If you rip the @rse out of your trousers in the middle of Kandahar, who is going to fix it then? You could take it home at the weekend for your Mum, or get your mate to do it for you. :woo: No, you're probably better off doing it yourself.

    The days of someone wiping your nose and cleaning up after you are soon to end. Get used to it.
