what do you want more explaining about?

the Prophet (saw) said "some people will not acheive anything in Ramadhan except hunger and thirst..."

    talking about fasting

"and some people will not acheive nothing at night except stress and tiredness/fatique"

    refering to taraweeh prayers.

Ramadhan is not about abstaining from food and drink during daylight hours. This month is a mercy from Allah to us, giving us an oppertunity to win his forgiveness more than any other time. We should do more acts of ibadat (worship) and remember Allah always. It is also time to forgive others and overlook their faults. The sahaba used to pray six monts after Ramadhan that Allah accepts their siyam and deeds in Ramadhan, and the other six months they used to pray to Allah to let them live o see the next Ramadhan.
Oh ok, i thought that meant some peoples fast won't count.

Surah 14 Koran is called Abraham
It talks about the prophets before MOhammed (swa) and how they tried to spread the word of islam.
It also talks about how Ishmaels mother ran from al safa to al marwah mountains in makkah from which the 7 time walk happens in umrah.haaj.
it also talks about how abraham and his son built the kabba and how makkah became a settlement.
It is so much more advantageous to understand the koran.

"the thinking mans..." is a well known turn of phrase like "Jessica Biel is
is the thinking mans Megan Fox" etc. etc.

    You replied "i don't understand".

To which I replied "Precisely", thus inferring that by not understanding you were not a thinking man.:woo:

And no it's not just for Cahill, I'm a life long supporter.

Heh that clears things up. But :hmmm:

Life-long Everton supporters living in London are unheard of. But if that's your thing then :yy:

Yeah didn't I already say this before ?

I've completed it like a year ago, just doing revision of it during ramadhan, hopefully will continue over the year, if it all goes well, Insha'allah I'll prolly try lead next year taraweeh prayers at my local mosque.

Yeah I'm already a hafiz so I can read over it quite quickly, but I have to read it a couple of times just in case there are any mistakes.
