Hi, title says it all. Anyone who owns a visa able to suggest the pros and cons and what i should go for?

I was thinking Lloyds visa debit card but i think i'll be charged for something of unplanned overdraft if i don't request it? *shrugs*

    Thanks! Rep will be added

The way to avoid being charged is to set up a small overdraft in advance - say £100. Most banks will give such a small amount out to anyone for exactly this purpose.

It means that, should you mistakenly go into your overdraft up to the limit (say you misjudged how much you had in the account, or a payment was late in arriving) then you'll only have to pay interest on the amount, rather than a charge.
